Tom Mayer & Benjamin Kahn: Do You Wanna Be Famous?

Published on: 21st February, 2022

Benjamin Kahn and Tom Mayer co-host the podcast Blind Duet. On each episode, two featured artists are challenged to write and record an original piece of music together in just two weeks. The catch is that they have no idea who their partner will be until their first joint interview. Blind Duet digs into discussions of creativity, collaboration, and songwriting. Of course, we feature the music made by each pair as well. The musicians break down their tracks and explain the choices that go into each song.

Benjamin is a professional guitarist and producer based out of Los Angeles. He is currently pursuing his Master's of Music Business at California State University Northridge. In 2020, Tom graduated with a Master's degree in Global Creative and Cultural Industries from the University of London and is the Development Coordinator for Second Line Arts Collective. Benjamin and Tom met on the first day of Kindergarten and have been music-obsessed friends ever since.
